Terms of Sale for Custom Orders
Effective date: 10 September 2026
What Makes An Order Custom
A custom order is a garment made to measurements or design specifications agreed with you. The approved design, fabric, color, embroidery, included pieces, price, and estimated schedule form the order specification. Standard-size goods do not become legally personalized solely because they are produced after purchase.
Measurements And Fit
You are responsible for providing accurate body measurements in the stated unit and following our measurement instructions. Do not add seam allowances unless we request them. For a sherwani or fitted bridal design, we may ask for further measurements. We are responsible for making the garment to the agreed specification and for clarifying an apparent inconsistency before relying on it.
Design Proofs And Approval
Review any written specification, sketch, swatch, or proof carefully. Confirm changes in writing. A reference image is guidance unless its details have been expressly agreed. We explain material substitutions or significant design limitations before seeking approval. Production begins after the required approval, measurements, and payment are complete.
Price And Production
Custom sizing of a selected design carries no extra sizing charge. Changes to material, embroidery or design may need a separately agreed quote. We confirm payment requirements and the production estimate before you approve the written specification. Production and delivery are separate stages; tell us your event date before ordering.
Changes And Cancellation
Changes depend on the stage of cutting, stitching, and embroidery. We confirm any additional cost or revised completion date before proceeding. See our Cancellation Policy. Any restriction or retained amount must be lawful and consistent with the agreed order; it does not excuse a failure to deliver the promised work.
Alterations
Contact us before arranging alterations. We assess the fit issue and confirm available adjustments, any charge and delivery arrangements before additional work begins. Do not assume reimbursement for independently commissioned alterations without prior agreement. Your rights for defects or failure to meet the approved specification remain protected.
Returns And Faults
Genuinely personalized and made-to-measure garments are final sale for a change of mind to the extent permitted by law. You retain remedies for defects, an incorrect item, or work that does not meet the agreed measurements or specifications. A measurement error supplied by the customer is assessed separately from a construction error by EshalPreet. We will explain any paid adjustment option and obtain agreement before proceeding.
Natural Variation
Small handcrafted variations may occur, as described in our Disclaimer. They must remain consistent with the agreed quality and design and cannot be used to dismiss a genuine defect.
